Kirsten Woodend
I've had the privilege of supporting family members and friends in the process of dying. As a nurse, I've also seen deaths and attitudes about death that were not in the dying personâs, familiesâ, or friendâs best interests.
As I reach the end of my career, I want to bring my comfort with death, my nursing and teaching skills, and my capacity to care to contribute to âmore life at the end of lifeâ for persons in my community.
I volunteer in both long-term care and hospice, and am prepared to support dying persons and their loved ones in my community before, during, and after death, beyond the boundaries of these institutions.
Serving Peterborough City & County.
