Passages - Support at the End of Life
Kim Winnicky brings a calm and compassionate presence to help individuals and families navigate the end of life journey. Her father was a funeral director, and so death has been part of her world from the beginning.
Kim engages with her clients to help clarify their values, wishes and beliefs. She supports her clients in developing an end of life plan that honours these values. Her client-centred approach creates a safe and supportive space for individuals at the end of life and their loved ones to express themselves.
Kim has volunteered with Hospice Yukon since 2015. She currently coordinates Hospice Yukon’s vigil program and works with Hospice clients in their last weeks, days and hours of life.
