Carolyn Dillon
Carolyn provides non-judgmental and empathetic grief, trauma, and end-of-life support through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and caring presence, respecting each individual's unique journey. By walking alongside her clients and being fully present, Carolyn ensures that her support is deeply compassionate and personalized, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for healing, even in one’s final moments.
Carolyn is a dedicated mother of three and proud grandmother of five, living in St. Mary’s, Ontario, with her husband and two granddaughters. Her family is her greatest joy and source of inspiration.
She holds a BA in Psychology with distinction from the University of Western Ontario and an MSc in Thanatology with distinction from Marian University, Wisconsin. Her ongoing interest in consciousness studies and transpersonal healing enriches her practice, allowing her to offer a holistic approach to end-of-life care.
Certified in the Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care through St. Joseph’s Health Care, London (2021), Carolyn volunteered as a direct support worker at St. Joseph’s Hospice London from 2021 to 2024.
She played a key role in developing peer support for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and in response to increasing suicide and drug-related deaths in men, Carolyn co-founded The Men's Support Initiative in December 2023, currently serving as the board secretary. From 2020 to 2024, she served on the Board of Changing Ways, a partner assault response program, holding the position of vice chair for the last three years.
