Hello, my name is Tannis Dorscht, and I am an End-of-Life Doula residing in Okotoks, AB with my husband and four dogs. I am a proud mom to five adult children and grandmother to five beautiful grandbabies. Following my intuitive nature and genuine curiosity into what makes each of us unique I found my passion for navigating and empowering end of life journeys after the passing of my dad in 2017. I have received certifications from Douglas College, Life Celebrants International and Dr. David Kessler, Grief Educator. Whether you are navigating your own end of life journey or that of a loved one I am here to provide compassionate care and guidance inclusive of all values and beliefs including supporting those who have chosen medically assisted dying. I offer practical, non-medical support to navigate the often-complex health care system.
Together, in collaboration with your health care team we will ensure your voice is heard, allowing you to make informed choices for your end-of-life care. My goal is to empower you on your own unique path towards comfort, healing and finding meaning in the midst of loss and transition.
