Joan Harrison - Inner Peace End of Life Care
People are my passion! I have had an amazing career of connection with seniors, young people and their families. I moved into the End of Life Doula field after assisting close relatives to find meaning and to be at peace with the life they had lived, now that it was coming to an end.
As death is the natural end to our life, my focus is to empower individuals and families of all cultures, beliefs and identities to make informed end of life choices. Accompanying them on their journey, gently guiding them with practical, emotional and spiritual care, valuing connection and choice, and providing compassionate and holistic options.
I am a hospice volunteer in the Palliative Care Unit. I have my End of Life Doula training and I am also a Scented Space Facilitator (essential oils) for End of Life and Grief and loss.
