Michele King - The Last Gift End of Life Doula Services

Michele is an End-of-Life Doula, Death Educator/Consultant and Expressive Arts Grief Support and Workshop facilitator. She companions people through serious illness and at end of life, meeting them where they are in their health journey. Michele’s passion for normalizing conversations around death and dying grew from experiencing the loss of her older brother and father as a child and her mother in 2018.

A strong believer in the healing power of art Michele facilitates healing arts workshops and grief support groups. As an Expressive Arts Grief Support Facilitator, she holds space to explore your grief journey through retelling it through art, music, creative writing, drama, and movement, either one on one, or in a group. Michele stays connected to the end-of-life community as a member of many end-of-life doula organizations in North America including the End-of-Life Doula Association of Canada, the DDNBC, the Alberta Hospice Palliative Care Association, and by volunteering at her local hospice and health care centre. She lives, plays and works on 200 acres affectionately called Little Heaven Ranch southwest in West Central Alberta Canada, with her partner Barry, German Shepherd Faith and horses Beau Levi and Zodi.
